Those who hear the word "business" and immediately think of giant corporations such as Coca Cola, IBM, Sony, Toyota, BMW, BRF, P & G, etc., which are symbols of the industrialised world of modern society and countries of developed economy, they do not notice a component of the business world or small business backbone of the national economy. Kosovo is focused to a market economy and has a proactive approach in developing small and medium enterprises for a sustainable economic development. In Kosovo, 99% of businesses are small and medium enterprises and constitute the main factor of Economic Growth of Kosovo. Lots of people think that the goal of business is profit, the truly real goal of a business according to Peter Drucker is to "create and keep a customer" (Tracy, 2014). In today's market economy, namely, internationally competitive economy, marketing is the basic function of any successful enterprise. ![]() According to Dun &Bradstreet 48% of all business failures can be attributed to a slowdown or lack of effectiveness in the field of marketing and sales. The first reason for the success or failure of a business is determined by the success or failure of marketing effort. Marketing enables the identification of customer behaviour in proper way, to research the market, by showing ideas and public communication. Marketing is essential to the success of enterprises and in this sense it ensures the realization of the main goals, in the survival of enterprises, its growth and development. Enterprise is connected to the market, and it is marketing that provides that kind of relation. Although it tends to adapt the particular economy and society, marketing ultimately changes our lives, our behaviour. Marketing is quite present in our daily lives and greatly influences our living style while it constantly transforms it and the society as a whole. In August, the young musicians will perform for the German audience with concerts in Berlin, Kassel, Königswinter, Aachen and Essen. The orchestra went on tour for the first time in October 2021, and in May 2022 it played at the occasion of the Europe Day in Novi Sad.Īfter the Pristina concert, the orchestra will continue its tour in Skopje, (22 July), Novi Sad (24 July), Mostar (26 July) and Kotor (28 July). The Western Balkans Youth Orchestra ( is an initiative of Artium Eudora, a Pristina-based NGO that is promoting the arts as a tool for individual and social progress. The concert will start at 20:30, and on the menu are works by Chopin, Grieg, Tansman, Shostakovich, as well as a world premiere by Albanian composer Gerti Druga. The inaugural concert of the Western Balkan Youth Orchestra will take place in Pristina on Thursday, 21 July at the Bogdani Polis hall. They have gathered in Pristina for eight intensive days of preparation under the baton of conductor and pianist Desar Sulejmani, after which they will go on a Balkans concert tour, followed one month later by a concert tour in Germany. On Thursday, 14 July, rehearsals have started for 30 young musicians from Albania, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia.
